BUYERS INFORAMATION
Bidder Contract


This BIDDER CONTRACT entered into between the Bidder whose name is recorded with the front office personal  and the
Auctioneers.  Bidder agrees that the terms listed below shall govern this auction and he/she agrees with them.  Additional terms may
be posted or announced from the auction block which are just as binding as the below terms.

  1. FULL PAYMENT:  All items must be paid for in full before Bidder leaves the premises.  Nothing may be removed until it is settled
    for.  Payment for purchases must be made by cash or cashier's check or by personal check or business check if announced by
    the Auctioneers.  Letters or Credit or Guarantee must be for this auction only, along with proof of identity.  All sales are subject to
    state sales tax laws.  Bidder agrees not to stop payment on checks or disallow a sight draft and is responsible for any
    expenses due to collection of a bad check, the Auctioneers reserve the right to repossess, at any time, at your location, the
    merchandise involved.
  2. NO WARRANTY: ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE OF ANY KIND.  The
    descriptions of items appearing in advertising prior to this auction are believed to be correct.  Nevertheless, neither those
    descriptions nor any oral statement made by the Owner (or his agents or officers) or the Auctioneers (or their agents or officers)
    concerning any item shall be construed as a warranty, either expressed or implied.  I, the Bidder, have examined this
    merchandise and accept it the way it is.
  3. DISPUTES:  The Auctioneers shall designate the winning bidder after each item is auctioned.  If a dispute arises between
    two or more bidders, the Auctioneers reserve the right to reopen the bidding.  The Auctioneer's designation of a Buyer shall be
    final  
  4. After a bidder has won the bid with his/her high bid, he/she may have become the now owner of the item, even though he/she
    may not have paid for the item yet. The item(s) becomes the full and sole responsibility of the Buyer at this point, and Buyer
    assumes all risk of loss and damage.  Buyers should guard their items accordingly
  5. INJURY AND DAMAGE:  Bidder acknowledges responsibility for any personal injury or property damage caused by Bidder or
    his agent, and further agrees to hold the Auctioneers harmless from any personal injury to himself or his agents and any
    property damage incurred on auction premises.
  6. AGENTS ONLY:  The Auctioneers are acting as the Owners' agents only.
10% Buyers Premium is in effect for every
Auction on Household items only.
What is a "Buyers Premium"

A "Buyer's or Bidder's Premium" is a tool auctioneers use to help defray the cost of the auction onto
those who benefit most from it, you the buyers.

As a buyer, set your "top price" for an item and stop bidding 10% below it.  For example: If you set $100,
as a top bid, stop at $90.  When you get to check out your bill will be $90, plus $9 "bid Premium" for a total
of $99.

TO PURCHASE ANY ITEM(S) ON AUCTION DAY
RETAIL BUYERS

We must have a current and valid IRS Tax Number (EIN or TIN) on file with our office,
to include the Tax Exempt paper work required by our company, prior to Auction
Day if you are Tax Exempt.  We will not accept numbers the day of the sale or phone
in numbers. This must be done in person.
Absentee Bids

We are open throughout the week from 9 am to 6 pm Monday -Thursday and 9 am to 7 pm on Friday's.  We accept
absentee bids up to 10 am (no later than) every auction day.

What is an Absentee bid?

Absentee Bidder:
A person who may not attend the sale but submits, in advance, a written or oral bid that is the top price he/she will pay
for a given property.

Absentee Bid/Proxy Bid:
A bid on an item that a bidder leaves without being physically present. Hunt Brothers Auction allows a bidder to leave a
bid on any item.  All bids are kept confidential from the auctioneer and other bidders. At the time of the live auction, we
will attempt to execute your bid at the lowest cost possible.

We will call you Monday morning to inform you if you actually won any item(s) during our prior Saturday's Sale.  You
then have 24hrs to pay and pickup your treasures.  Any item(s) left in that time period will be considered abandoned
and will be taken care of accordingly.  All sales are final.

State Requirements to Purchase and Register a Vehicle in the State of Idaho
  • Must have a valid Photo ID, Social Security Number (EIN or TIN) and an address located in the State of Idaho
  • Passports are for Identification purposes ONLY!
  • Whomever they may be the person or persons being placed as the legal owner on ITD Form 0502 must be
    present to sign all paperwork.
  • After purchasing a vehicle you will have 3 working days (Idaho Statutes 49-504 paragraph 6) to register the
    vehicle with your local Idaho DMV.
  • If you purchase a vehicle with a check, Hunt's Auto Auction will not release the vehicle until all the funds have
    been completely transferred and verified by the Bank.  The process usually takes 3 days.
  • Titles normally will reach the new owner within 30 days. Under unusual circumstances this process may take
    longer.
We Do NOT Deliver
This is a live Auction House and not a Thrift Store we do not sell any items prior to
Saturday's Auction Sale day.

We are a Consignment Only Facility.

We do not purchase estates, storage sheds, ect... or any vehicles, ATV's, Campers,
Pullouts, Ect....
